Joshua B. Hecht
A native of Long Island, Mr. Hecht has established himself as one of Long Island’s leading young matrimonial attorneys. Well-liked and respected by his peers, he has earned a reputation as a diligent and thorough lawyer, having spent his entire legal career in the practice of matrimonial and family law. Prior to co-founding this firm, Mr. Hecht was an associate with the eight-attorney matrimonial firm of DiMascio & Associates, located in Garden City, where he handled numerous contentious and complex matrimonial cases, involving the division of property, custody and visitation, child support, and spousal maintenance. Mr. Hecht has successfully litigated cases in courts throughout the metropolitan area, and has successfully represented clients on appeal.
Mr. Hecht obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a concentration in finance, from the State University of New York at Albany School of Business in 2000, and a law degree from St. John’s University School of Law in 2006. Mr. Hecht utilizes his dual background to navigate through the financial complexities of the marital estate.

Jason A. Isaacson
Jason A. Isaacson is a partner of the law firm of Sunshine, Isaacson & Hecht, L.L.P. Mr. Isaacson is a graduate of both Cornell University and of the University of Miami. Before founding our firm, Mr. Isaacson was an associate attorney with the firm of Helwig, Henderson, Ryan & Spinola, L.L.P. Prior to that, Mr. Isaacson clerked at the Supreme Court, Nassau County, for the Honorable Joseph P. Spinola. Mr. Isaacson focuses his practice in matrimonial law, divorce litigation, and family law. Mr. Isaacson is admitted to practice in both the State of New York and the State of Florida, as well as in the Eastern District of the United States District Court.
Jeffrey A. Sunshine
Jeffrey A. Sunshine is the managing partner of the law firm of Sunshine, Isaacson & Hecht, L.L.P. located in Lake Success, New York. Mr. Sunshine was a partner in the firm of Jeffrey A. Sunshine, P.C. since 1991 and previously an associate with the firm Certilman, Haft, Balin, Buckley, Kremer & Hyman and Brown Raysman & Millstein. Mr. Sunshine’s practice is limited to business transactions, corporate law, real estate litigation, commercial litigation, tort litigation, insurance litigation and matrimonial law. Mr. Sunshine is admitted to practice in the State of New York, Eastern and Southern District of the United States District Court, United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, United States Court of Federal Claims, United States Court of Military Appeals, Supreme Court of the United States of America and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Mr. Sunshine is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association and past member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and Nassau County Lawyers Association. Mr. Sunshine volunteered to represent a number of eligible victims and families seeking compensation under the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund under Trial Lawyers Care administered by the Association of Trial Lawyers of America providing free legal services for 9-11 victims.
