Christopher M. Zitz

Christopher M. Zitz is a first-year associate attorney with the Sunshine, Isaacson & Hecht, LLP. Mr. Zitz works with the legal staff and the partners, Jeffrey A. Sunshine, Jason A. Isaacson and Joshua B. Hecht in cases in all subject areas of litigation including, but not limited to Family law, Matrimonial law, Personal injury and damage to property.

Experience

Mr. Zitz worked as a law secretary in the New York Supreme Court system during his first summer at Law School where we gained valuable experience dealing with lawyers and the court system, but also gained real world experience in Criminal and Family law matters.  After his internship with the Supreme Court Mr. Zitz interned for Sunshine, Isaacson & Hecht, LLP as a law clerk over his 2L summer.  After his 2L summer Mr. Zitz stayed on part-time during the school year and accepted a full-time position upon graduating from Hofstra Law.

Education

Mr. Zitz graduated from University of Rhode Island in 2016 as Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Secondary Education and a degree in History. Mr. Zitz then attended Law School at the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University where he graduated Cum Laude in 2019 and was an editor on the Hofstra Law Review for his 2L and 3L year.
